During an interview to Alan White on april 25, 2004 in México City, I asked him about this cancelled concert in Acapulco back in 1973.
"Back in 1973, you were scheduled for a gig in Acapulco, but the show was cancelled. Do you remember something about it, and why was that show cancelled?"
ALAN WHITE:
"Yeah, we were scheduled for a gig in Acapulco around that time, it was supposed to be outdoors, in a football stadium or so, but it get cancelled because the date didn´t match with our itineraries, as far as I remember."

In 1973 a concert in Acapulco was scheduled, I remember the posters in Universidad la Salle, but the concert was cancelled. The rumours about the cancellation at that time were: (1) The lack of security in the Mexican concerts from the big rock groups; that was unfortunately true, at that time all groups that dared to perform in Mexico had security problems and the audience always rioted. (2) The other rumour (that I cannot trust) was that YES said that Mexico is not an audience for their music, something like saying that they do not play in socially retarded areas.
